What is Daktarin Cream?
Daktarin Cream is an antifungal treatment designed to treat skin and nail infections caused by fungi. It contains miconazole, an active ingredient that works by breaking down the cell walls of the fungus, which kills the cells and stops the infection from spreading.
What is Daktarin Cream used for?
Daktarin Cream can be used to treat various fungal infections, including:
- Ringworm (on the body and scalp)
- Athlete’s foot
- Jock itch
- Fungal nail infections

How to use Daktarin Cream:
- Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
- Apply a small amount of the cream directly to the affected skin, as well as a small area around it.
- Use the cream twice a day, in the morning and at night.
- Continue using for at least 7 days after the infection appears to have cleared to prevent it from returning.
Possible side effects:

- Redness or rash
If you experience a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling, difficulty breathing, or severe skin irritation, stop using the cream and seek medical attention immediately.
