What is Epiduo Gel and what is it for?
Epiduo Gel is an effective acne treatment that targets the bacteria responsible for causing various types of acne, such as pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, and spots on the skin.

What’s in it?
Epiduo Gel contains two active ingredients: adapalene and benzoyl peroxide. Adapalene is a retinoid that reduces inflammation and helps unclog pores, effectively treating whiteheads and blackheads. Benzoyl peroxide combats bacteria, exfoliates the skin’s surface, and reduces excess oil, which can contribute to acne formation.

How do I use it?
Apply Epiduo Gel gently to the affected areas of your skin once daily at night on clean, dry skin. Use only a small amount to cover the acne-affected areas, avoiding contact with your eyes and mouth. Remember to wash your hands before and after application. Using more than the recommended amount will not enhance effectiveness and may increase side effects.

When does it start working?
Epiduo Gel begins to work quickly, with noticeable results typically seen within 1 to 4 weeks of consistent use. Continued application is essential, as improvement in acne tends to occur over time.

Are there any side effects?
Common side effects may occur in about 10% of users and include dry skin, rash, burning sensation, skin irritation, redness, and peeling. These effects usually subside after a few weeks of use. If discomfort persists, rinse your skin and consider using a non-comedogenic moisturizer to alleviate symptoms.
