Gaviscon Double Action Mint Liquid is a medicine that quickly relieves the uncomfortable symptoms of heartburn and indigestion and provides long-lasting relief.

How does it work?

This liquid medicine does two things to help you. First, it makes the stomach acid less harmful to relieve pain and discomfort. Second, it creates a protective shield over your stomach to stop acid from going back up.

How do I use Gaviscon Double Action Mint Liquid?

Before using it, shake the bottle well. When you feel symptoms, take 10-20ml (which is like two to four 5ml spoonfuls) after you eat and before bedtime. You can do this up to four times a day as needed.

Warnings and Precautions

Don’t use this if you know you’re allergic to any of the ingredients. In very rare cases, it can cause breathing problems and skin rashes. It contains things like methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), which might cause allergic reactions (although this is rare). If your doctor has told you to follow a diet low in sodium or calcium, talk to them before using this product.

Storage

Use it within 6 months after opening. Don’t use it after the expiration date shown on the bottle. Keep it below 30°C, and don’t put it in the fridge or freezer. Make sure kids can’t reach it.
