Gaviscon Double Action Peppermint Tablets are used to quickly and effectively relieve the uncomfortable symptoms of heartburn and indigestion.
How do they work?
These tablets have a two-step approach. The white layer helps to neutralize the stomach acid, easing pain and discomfort. The pink layer creates a protective shield over your stomach to prevent acid reflux.
How should I use Gaviscon Double Action Peppermint Tablets?
When you’re experiencing heartburn or indigestion, chew and swallow two to four tablets after meals and before bedtime, as needed. You can repeat this up to four times a day.
Warnings and Precautions
If you’re on a low-sodium or low-calcium diet, consult your doctor before using this product. People with phenylketonuria should be aware that these tablets contain aspartame (E951), which contains phenylalanine. They also contain carmoisine lake (E122).
Storage
Store these tablets below 30°C (86°F) and keep them in their original packaging to protect them from moisture.
Active Ingredients
The active ingredients in each tablet are Sodium Alginate (250mg), Sodium Bicarbonate (106.5mg), and Calcium Carbonate (187.5mg). These tablets are free from sugar and gluten.
