What are Lemsip Sachets?
Lemsip Cold & Flu sachets are packets of powdered medicine designed to help relieve symptoms of a cold or flu, such as headaches, sore throats, fever, body aches, and stuffy noses. Each sachet contains two main active ingredients:
- Paracetamol: A pain reliever that helps with headaches, body aches, sore throats, and reduces fever.
- Phenylephrine Hydrochloride: A decongestant that helps clear a stuffy nose by reducing swelling in the nasal passages.
What’s the difference between Lemsip and Lemsip Max Sachets?
The main difference between Lemsip and Lemsip Max is the strength of the ingredients:
- Regular Lemsip contains 650mg of paracetamol and 10mg of phenylephrine hydrochloride.
- Lemsip Max contains 1000mg of paracetamol and 12.2mg of phenylephrine hydrochloride, making it a stronger option for more severe symptoms.
How does Lemsip work?
- Paracetamol helps to relieve pain and reduce fever, making you feel better when you have a cold or flu.
- Phenylephrine works as a decongestant by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and helping to clear a stuffy nose.
